This is my second pair. First pair lasted 6+ years. I work as an electrical lineman and street construction.When I walked in puddles, I could stay in it with no leaking problem.They are very durable.Never felt like my feet were hot. And I work in Georgia, and it gets hot here. Specially on asphalt.If you want to keep them clean, they are easy to clean. But I'm a country ol' boy who doesn't care.Never had to change laces until 6+ years, but that's due to it was time to get new boots.After the 6 years. I could hear a squeek sound. And after a month, one day I was standing in water and noticed I could feel my feet were wet.If you don't know your boot size. I suggest pre try some on. They're usually 1 size in difference from regular tennis shoes.I worked with others who uses "you know the other top electrical lineman brand". And my boots lasted longer, more durable and took more of a beating...... They're boots look like junk after a year compared to mine.
